Remote Lab Access – RLA

Please find Logitrain Cisco Remote Lab connectivity details.

The following conditions apply to the remote lab service, please DO NOT login if you do not agree to all the conditions below:

*** The devices are available from 6 pm to 10 pm daily (except Sundays) ***

– Remote connectivity is provided on a best effort services only; no technical support is provided

– DO NOT change IP addresses of the devices; connectivity will be lost

– DO NOT delete contents in NVRAM (startup configuration) or Flash

– DO NOT copy running-config to startup-config under any circumstances e.g. never use the command copy running-config startup-config

– DO NOT change passwords e.g. Console, VTY or enable secret/password

– DO NOT change the default-route

– DO NOT change the config-register

– DO NOT change the line vty 0 4 config

– DO NOT change the config of interfaces 0/1 – 0/8 of the switch

* The devices are setup once for each Cisco batch, if configurations files are saved/erased or flash files deleted or conditions of use violated; Logitrain will not reconfigure/troubleshoot the devices for that entire batch

Connectivity Details:

* Ensure you have a direct connection to the internet e.g. no firewalls or proxy servers configured. If using Windows Vista/7/8/8.1 please confirm Telnet Client is enabled using Add Remove Windows Features (procedure listed below).

To telnet to Logitrain Systems devices, follow these steps

Open up command prompt –> click start –> click run –> type cmd

In command prompt; connect to one of the switches or routers using the following commands:

1. To connect to SW1:

telnet 27.32.188.208 2722

2. To connect to SW2:

telnet 27.32.188.208 2622

3. To connect to R1:

telnet 27.32.188.208 2322

4. To connect to R3:

telnet 27.32.188.208 2422

Use the following steps to enable Telnet Client in Windows Vista/7:

1.Click the Start button, click Control Panel, click Programs, and then click Turn Windows features on or off.

(If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation).

2.In the Windows Features dialog box, select the Telnet Client check box.

3.Click OK. The installation might take several minutes.
