CCNA Wireless (WIFUND) Certification

The CCNA Wireless Certification validates candidate’s skills in the configuration, implementation and support of wireless LANs, specifically those networks using Cisco equipment. Students completing the recommended Cisco training are provided with information and practice activities to prepare them for, configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting basic tasks of a Cisco WLAN in SMB and Enterprise networks. Employers will be able to validate their staff have the skills needed for basic wireless networking on a Cisco WLAN in SMB and enterprise networks after completing certification.

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is a pre-requisite to CCNA Wireless certification.

The CCNA Wireless Certification course covers various concepts such as describing WLAN RF principles, WLAN technologies, Antennae concepts, 802.11 protocols, Wireless media access, Wired to wireless network packet delivery, Cisco Unified Wireless Networks basic architecture, and Controller discovery and association.

Other concepts which are covered in the curriculum are Mobility Express architecture, Wireless clients, WCS, and maintaining and troubleshooting wireless networks.

This certification is beneficial for:

  • Verification and troubleshooting related jobs for wireless networks

CCENT or CCNA Routing and Switching Certification

Candidates can achieve this certification by passing the following exam(s).

  • Implementing Cisco Wireless Network Fundamentals (Exam 200-355)

The certification exam can be registered and attempted within 3 months of course/module completion at Logitrain training centre on weekdays during normal business hours (excludes public holidays)
